Grade any Google ad, right where you're browsing.

Right-click any Google Ads headline anywhere on the web — a competitor's ad, your own draft, a landing page hero — for an instant 0-100 score against real Google Ads factors (query-intent match, extensions, CTA strength), plus three rewritten alternatives. On Google Search results pages, ads get a "Grade this ad" button automatically, with a free preview — up to two findings pulled from the ad's own text.

Right-click, anywhere

Highlight any text on any page and check it in two clicks — no tab-switching, no retyping.

Auto-detects Google Search ads

On Google Search results pages, a one-click 'Grade this ad' button appears right on ads it recognizes.

Nothing hidden

A right-click check sends only the text you select. On Google Search, ad detection runs locally in your browser and sends nothing until you click 'Grade this ad.' No tracking, no account required.

How it works

1
Browse Google Search, or select any text
Google Search ads get a small button automatically. Anywhere else, highlight a headline or ad copy yourself.
2
Click the button, or right-click → "Check this Google ad"
A card appears right on the page: a score and diagnosis against real Google Ads factors, or two sample findings across different lenses for a full detected ad.
3
Copy a rewrite, or go deeper
Copy a rewritten alternative, or continue straight into Improve My Ads' full Google Ads audit — the ad's text carries over automatically.

FAQ

Is the Google Ads Grader extension free?
Yes, entirely free. It's rate-limited (a handful of checks per hour, shared across the popup and on-page detector) to keep it sustainable, but there's no sign-in, no card, and no paid tier for the grading feature itself.
What does the extension actually send, and to whom?
Manual checks (right-click or the popup) send only the exact text you select or paste. On Google Search results pages specifically, it also scans the page locally to offer a one-click button on ads it recognizes — nothing is sent unless you click it. On every other site, it doesn't read the page at all. See the privacy policy for details.
How does the automatic ad detection work?
On Google Search results pages, the extension looks for common ad markers (an "Ad" label, or a grouped "Sponsored results" section) and adds a small "Grade this ad" button directly on ads it finds. Click it to get a free preview — up to two findings across different lenses (query relevance, extensions usage, copywriting, offer, and more), or fewer if the ad is already solid — pulled straight from the ad's own headline, description, and sitelinks.
How is this different from the full Improve My Ads audit?
The extension grades a headline against real Google Ads factors in isolation — query-intent match, CTA strength, extensions. The full audit (on the website) runs six lenses across the entire ad: behavioral psychology, platform fit, copywriting, offer, visual design, and conversion/CRO.

Read the privacy policy for exactly what the extension sends and stores.
